Chilly’s Bottles launched a brand new ‘Series 2’ range of sustainable products with help from creative partner Uncommon. The contemporary new collection captures Chilly’s mission, now more than ever: to make doing good for the planet easy and desirable. The brand has spent three years developing the collection, both conceived and designed in the UK, rethinking and improving every element of the products to date.
The jolting new work from Uncommon, ‘Unburdened’, highlights the action of stripping back to the things that matter — a guiding principle to all good design processes. The heavily saturated new brand world aired digitally to launch the collection and was designed in collaboration with acclaimed 3D artist aeforia, from Montreal. His distinct animation style is all about colours, balance and emotion. His striking design blends together surreal landscapes and digital portraiture in this powerful new film.

aeforia, 3D Artist said: “The use of vibrant colours and surreal imagery has always been at the core of my work, and this collaborative effort for Chilly’s is no different. It was a great exercise to bring elements from my visual universe into this new world that was created for the brand. It resulted in an unexpected visual animation that plays with a clever use of contrasts, colours and textures to create a lasting impact on the viewer.”
The film is accompanied by a haunting soundtrack composed by, Norwegian cult classic vocalist, Susanna Wallumrød. The track, titled ‘Holy/Sacred’, ushers us in with a modulated, layered doom-laden voice and the words ‘Nothing is holy. Nothing is sacred’.

“The crafted and epic experience is entirely inspired from the design process of the new bottle.” Nils Leonard, co-founder at Uncommon added.
The new product features include: a softer bottom of the bottles and coffee cups — avoiding any loud clunks when placed on a surface. The lip is no longer metal — it’s an antibacterial plastic that’s softer and safer. The bottle is also a single construction, not made from pieces, making the entire aesthetic much more considered and easier to use.
