MullenLowe launches multi-media communications campaign showcasing a wide range of sectors and industries

In May 2020, MullenLowe was awarded and briefed by the UK Government to create an engaging and action-oriented campaign to prepare the UK for the end of the transition period on 31st December 2020. The fully integrated campaign, launching across the nation today, showcases a wide range of sectors and industries.
UK business owners and citizens have been heroed in this optimistic and informative communication around the actions we all need to take as we transition into our new relationship with the EU.
“We’re delighted to have extended our relationship with government and to be given responsibility for such nationally critical communication”, said Tom Knox, executive partner at MullenLowe.
The new public information campaign, ‘The UK’s new start: let’s get going’ will clearly set out the actions businesses and individuals need to take to prepare for the end of the transition period, and ensure they are ready to seize the opportunities that it will bring. The campaign will run across the full range of communication channels, including TV advertising and radio, out of home, digital, print, and direct channels such as SMS and webinars.
Campaign advertisements will include the government’s 'Check, Change, Go' strapline which directs people and businesses to a straightforward checker tool on the
website which quickly identifies the necessary next steps they need to take.
Media strategy is being handled by Wavemaker and media buying by Omni GOV.
