MullenLowe launched the multi-media campaign to call businesses to action in time for the UK to leave the European Union

The countdown to the new trading rules with Europe has begun. MullenLowe has created a new multi-media campaign designed to spur UK businesses into action so they are prepared for the changes on 1st January 2021.

The fully integrated campaign, launching across the nation on Sunday 18th October, showcases a wide range of sectors and industries. It talks directly to businesses and underlines the fact that time is now of the essence to make the required changes.

“It is vital that businesses are ready for the rule changes. We at ML are proud to be doing our bit to help protect the UK’s thriving trade with Europe and give UK business a firm foundation from which to grow in the future. We urge the rest of the advertising industry to ensure they are ready” said Tom Knox, executive partner at MullenLowe.

This is the latest iteration of a campaign that began back in July, encouraging both businesses and citizens to ‘Check. Change. Go.’ – check the new requirements, make the changes and get going with new opportunities. In this campaign businesses are encouraged to visit gov.uk/transition to find out exactly what their business needs to do.

The campaign will run across the full range of communication channels, including TV, radio, out of home, print, digital, social and webinars.

MullenLowe has been working through a close partnership with Wavemaker for Media Strategy and Omni Gov for Media Buying.
