Sparks Productions' sister company Sans Bornes director Lana Maclin releases new TVC featuring popular comedic couple Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll and Gwynne Phillips

Uber Eats has recently collaborated with Toronto-based director, Lana Maclin, to release a wonderfully humorous spot which depicts the harmony and joy of couples cooking together. Lana is represented at Sparks' sister company, Sans Bornes and her work never fails to make you laugh.

This spot for the food delivery service was inspired by relatable domestic annals of 'locked down life', with Lana taking it upon herself to depict the comedy of errors that ensues when a couple attempts to simply cook a meal together.

"I kept hearing from friends and colleagues in lockdown about how tackling a new (or old) recipe was both an adventure and a potential liability to the relationship." said Lana. "I wanted to showcase a couple attempting to cook together in harmony - the ultimate relationship litmus test. It seemed only logical to give the tip of the hat to Uber Eats.”

The film was shot on location in Toronto and features the popular comedic couple Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll and Gwynne Phillips.

Lana Maclin is part of Sans Bornes, Sparks' new initiative launched in 2020 to represent Canadian-based directors who possess multiple skills beyond just directing. In addition to directing, Lana is an active participant in Toronto's vibrant improv scene.
