Uber, Diageo and Essity Among Top Brands Appearing at the 2021 Effie UK Bounce Forward Summit

Leaders from Uber, Diageo, Essity and more are among the speakers at this year's Effie UK Summit which will be taking place online May 13th at 4pm.

This year the theme is ‘Bounce Forward’. In 2020 the saying went that ‘only three days exist - yesterday, today and tomorrow’. Responding to changing circumstances took a great deal of energy, resilience and imagination and it seemed impossible to think long term.

Last year was as transformational as it was challenging and so this year the event will explore the key lessons learned in terms of brand growth, how we want to be and what we need to hold on to as we push forward.

Through the in-depth sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to find out who has managed to drive efficiency amid chaos and the practical lessons they learned through evolution at speed as well as uncomfortable truths that emerged under pressure and what can be re-evaluated to expose better and more positive ways to operate. A Q&A will follow each session where anyone can follow up the main points in discussion.

The speakers represent a wide range of organisations from internationally famous brands to disruptors forging a new path with innovative methods. Start-ups, social enterprises, and consultants from the world’s biggest agencies will be sharing their thoughts as well as industry commentators including Nicola Kemp (Creativebrief) and Stephen Lepitak (Adweek) as moderators.

Juliet Haygarth, managing director, Effie UK, said: “Our Summit last September was a rip-roaring success with over 400 marketeers attending, so we’re back by popular demand.
