PHD Manchester's Natalie Marshall Foxwell and The&Partnership's Carolina Guttierez join the committee

NABS, the support organisation for the advertising and media industry, has appointed two new members to its Manchester committee.

They are Natalie Marshall Foxwell, managing partner, PHD Manchester, and Carolina Guttierez, client services director, The &Partnership in Manchester.

NABS provides support to industry professionals including coaching, grants and an Advice Line, with its Manchester committee dedicated to helping those in the city and across the north-west.

Natalie and Carolina join the committee at a crucial time for the NABS. Faced with a loss of funds at around 40% due to the pandemic, the pair, together with their committee colleagues, will drive forward new and innovative ways to bring in much-needed funds to help support people working in the industry across the north-west and rest of the UK.

The north-west creative industries have enjoyed buoyant times recently, employing 158,000 people. However, the effects of the pandemic mean that now more people than ever before are contacting NABS for help, especially for support with redundancy and anxiety.

NABS’ regional team recently celebrated a successful art auction, raising £7000 for the charity, and is now looking forward to its virtual music quiz on 22nd October, open to advertising industry employees across the country.

Kate Harris, regional director, NABS, says: “Natalie and Carolina have impressive backgrounds in the advertising industry. Their collective insight and experience will help NABS to drive forward our essential work through these difficult times. We’re grateful for their expertise, time and dedication.”
