Design and animation company Laundry recently partnered with Turner Ignite Studios to create a logo animation and brand design system for the new digital entertainment studio for brands, which develops, produces and distributes branded content across Adult Swim, TBS, TNT, and truTV.
Laundry worked closely with Greg T. Gordon, VP/creative director of Turner Ignite Studios, to build the foundational visual system for Turner Ignite Studios. This included the logo, animation exploration, animated logo ID, and design system across static and animated formats. They designed each deliverable to uniquely capture the studio’s brand across a wide range of platforms, including digital, social, streaming, and linear, as well as marketing presentations.
“As a new digital entertainment studio for brands inside a prominent media company, it was crucial that Turner Ignite Studios made a strong statement out the gate,” says Gordon. “We knew that our visual identity needed to fit within the Turner family, but have an energy of its own: constantly moving, constantly changing, and always sparking conversation. Laundry got that immediately, and we had a lot of fun making something that has gotten people excited about what we’ll do next.”
