Mars Petcare brand Sheba, in partnership with AMV BBDO, has created a new campaign called ‘Karaoke Cat’. Launching with the first execution, ‘Hungry Eyes’.
Anybody who has ever owned a cat knows our feline friends have a range of weapons to deploy when they want to turn on the charm. A trembling little meow, a tilt of the head, imploring saucer eyes, or in the case of this video, a penetrating stare while guiding you (with it’s nimble paws) through the classic 'Hungry Eyes'. No matter how they mesmerise us, the result is always the same, Resistance is Futile.
The new campaign brings out the humour, insight and idiosyncrasies of the relationship between cat and owner – cats are in control and know how to get what they want from their owners, and humans can’t help but give in to them. And what do cats want? Sheba of course.
The ad broke on 3rd December 2017 and will run on TV and Facebook for 8 weeks in the United Kingdom.
