Tottenham Hotspur Players Star in 'Grocery Chants' in Neverland's Getir Campaign

Getir, the pioneers of ultrafast grocery delivery, has unveiled its latest digital campaign featuring Tottenham Hotspur players, as part of the brand’s ongoing three-year commitment to the Premier League club as the Official Training Wear Partner. 

The online campaign, running across digital & social channels, shows Spurs players receiving items delivered in minutes by Getir couriers, to the backing vocals of fans singing specially written chants about grocery products and Getir’s speedy delivery. From fruit squash, to umbrellas and wraps, the players get what they need delivered to them ultrafast. 

The films include four of the club’s players, Heung-Min Son, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierluigi Gollini and Bryan Gil and will use the latest Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology to identify in real time households watching sports and then serve the Getir ads across all devices within the home. 

Nicholas Casby, Getir UK head of marketing, says: “We had a lot of fun creating these films and wanted to show the joy and excitement of the Getir service through some of the club’s players. Hopefully fans and customers enjoy these videos and will get involved by engaging with these adverts.”

Jon Forsyth, Neverland co-founder, adds: “This partnership is the perfect way to kick off the new year and what a year it’s going to be for Getir, bringing the joy of groceries in minutes to life in a creative & fun way yet again.”

Getir announced its partnership with Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021, and the multi-year deal will see Getir feature across the club’s training kit for the men’s team. Since arriving in the UK in 2021, Getir now delivers in around 20 cities and towns across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, Cardiff and Southampton. Getir’s recent acquisition of online grocery brand Weezy in November further accelerated their business growth and has solidified their position as the UK’s leading ultrafast online grocery delivery company.
