Tool is promoting four of its most prolific senior talents to the role of Creative Director. Representing a cross-section of creative and technical disciplines, ACD/Digital Art Director Michael Sevilla, Creative Technologist Bartek Drozdz, ACD/Digital Art Director Matt Gase, and Sr. Interactive Developer Patrick Gunderson will each take on the new title.
The CDs will work in pairs, creating a novel internal leadership structure that will promote a new sense of cohesion between Tool’s design and development teams. Sevilla and Drozdz will comprise one pair, and Gase and Gunderson will form the other, both working tirelessly to push Tool’s groundbreaking integrated projects to the next level. All four of the new creative leads have overseen award-winning projects in their time at Tool, including the much-lauded Clouds Over Cuba, Playstation’s GT6 First Love, and the Nissan Passion Genome project.
