Announced today, Camp + King has been selected to lead the creative direction of the UGG brand’s fall 2016 UGG for Men advertising campaign. The San Francisco based creative agency will partner with the luxury-lifestyle brand to celebrate men everywhere with the help of the brand’s star athlete New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Primarily coming to life through digital properties and in-store mediums, the campaign will be unveiled worldwide beginning in fall 2016.
“This campaign marks a shift in how we will communicate with men,” says Morgan Halme, global marketing director for UGG for Men. “Tom’s leadership, confidence, drive and effortless style on and off the field continue to make him the perfect ambassador for our men’s division. Together with Tom, we’ll recognize the distinct role UGG plays in men’s lives across the globe.”
UGG was first introduced as a men’s brand in 1978 on the California coast. They first partnered with Brady in 2011 following his proclaimed love for the brand’s undeniable post-game comfort.
“Everyone knows the chiseled, icy stare of the four-time Super
Bowl champion Tom Brady,” said Roger Camp, founder and CCO at Camp + King. “But
there is a more relaxed and very funny Tom who wears UGG slippers and kicks
back when he’s off duty. With this new campaign, we're excited to share another
side of him and celebrate the part of the day every man looks forward to: the
right to do nothing.”
