Brooklyn-based production company tinygiant has announced the addition of Raphaël Ouellet and Andrew Schneider to its director roster for commercial representation in the U.S.
Raised in Rimouski, Quebec and now living in Montreal, Raphaël Ouellet is a director of short films and commercials. Ouellet draws inspiration for his work from his love for people – his visually arresting stories examine people’s fears, morals, and what drives them. His work has won more than 50 awards from institutions including CLIO, PDN, and the Communication of Arts and American Photography. His clients include Air Canada, Parks Canada, and Penningtons.
Andrew Schneider is a director who has made his mark by showcasing a vital role in our daily lives: the car. Schneider studied film and cinematography at USC where he became passionate about composition and imagery, fusing the two in his work. His recent Can-Am campaign depicts his interest in human stories alongside the ever-evolving innovations of the automotive industry. He has also worked with the renowned brands Acura, Toyota, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover, and BMW.
The addition of Schneider and Ouellet to their roster signals a time of expansion for tinygiant, who also recently signed with Anna Rotholz Management for representation on the east coast. Says tinygiant founder Veronica Diaferia, “The addition of amazing talent like Andrew and Raphaël opens new avenues for tinygiant, while reinforcing the quality of work we have done so far. Andrew’s first job with us — a complex, large-scale campaign with Anomaly for Can-Am — illustrates that the way forward in our industry is to work with talented storytellers who bring their multi-hyphenate skillset and perspective to the challenges of production. Both Raphaël and Andrew fit this model beautifully, and we are committed to growing them and putting them on everyone’s radar.”
