Tinder Makes Its First Foray into the Web3 Space with VaynerNFT

Brand asked Twitter followers which female artists the brand should follow to learn more about their work

Tinder has made its first foray into the Web3 space. As a brand that makes being single more fun and rewarding by connecting people who may not have otherwise met in real life, Tinder’s expansion into Web3 allows them to bring their mission into an emerging landscape and connect with new audiences. 

It was important for Tinder to achieve this in an authentic way – by listening to the community first. Using Twitter as an insights engine, they asked their followers which female artists the brand should follow to learn more about their work. 

Using these learnings, Tinder hosted an event on Twitter Space which debuted on ONE37pm, in order to give female athletes and artists a stage to talk about their careers, their challenges and their outlook on sports, art, and the Web3 community. The conversation centered around relevant topics in the space such as female empowerment and ownership rights and featured NFT artists Sara Baumann and Julie Pacino, as well as NCAA athlete Kaila Novak. 

As part of the event, Tinder gave away free Proof of Attendance Protocols (aka POAPs) NFTs, which were custom-designed by Baumann and Novak.
