For Tinder’s latest European campaign, Covert teamed up with director India Harris and Ginger Whippet Films to bring this awesome vision to life and highlight the Tinder features that put control firmly in the users' hands.
Focusing on Tinder’s safety controls within the app - whilst also being conscious of the 18-25 Gen Z target audience - it was important that the message was conveyed without a ‘preachy’ tone. To achieve this, the goal was a high-energy spot that felt fun whilst highlighting Tinder’s safety features to its consumers and the importance of green flags!
Covert delivered the VFX across the three shots and the hero film. To create the vibrant and energetic concept envisioned, Covert producer Ben and Covert artist Justin integrated a selection of CGI emoji-like assets into the shots.
Justin particularly enjoyed creating the hero shot of the model being on a turntable in a bright 3D environment: "From being on set on the shot day, I loved the vibrancy of the final edit."
As this was a European campaign, Covert also delivered a German, French and Spanish version.
The pace of the shots and the complementary upbeat soundtrack means the important safety message is delivered in an entertaining way. The studio is proud of the final cut and are glad they swiped right on this project!
