BBDO Minneapolis announced today that Tim Mattimore will be joining the agency as Creative Director. In this role, Marrimore will report to Noel Haan, Executive Creative Director of BBDO Minneapolis. He will be responsible for multiple brands across the agency, and will partner with David Mackereth, who was recently promoted to Creative Director.
“We’re proud of the work that we’ve created over the past few years because it’s captured attention from some of the best creative talent in the industry,” said Haan. “Tim is a creative leader that goes beyond advertising and pushes for ways that a brand can be a part of culture. That ethos is super aligned with our best work and I’m excited to see where Tim will take us. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Tim at Energy BBDO where I quickly noticed that he holds the rare skill of being both talented and humble.”
Mattimore studied at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where he had a unique upbringing in the world of Graphic Design and Advertising Design. Surrounded by fashion, toy and interior designers as well as fine art and illustration students and friends, the influence from what he saw and absorbed gave him a unique perspective on creativity and the world.
During his years in advertising, Mattimore’s work has been recognised by One Show, Clio, D&AD and Cannes. His work from Commonwealth McCann, Energy BBDO and Fallon has been featured in CommArts, Creativity and AdAge among others.
Mattimore assumes his new role with immediate effect.
