Three's a Crowd as SKY's Socially Distanced Duo Returns for Porta dos Fundos Campaign

SKY, the largest satellite subscription TV service in Brazil, is releasing a new video in partnership with Porta dos Fundos. The transmedia project, conceived by FCB Brasil, leverages the storytelling and humorous DNA of the company’s advertising campaigns, and features a series of chapters that will be released on broadcast TV and all SKY digital channels before the end of the year.

The video portrays new everyday situations in the lives of Sérgio and Duda – played by Fábio Porchat and Noemia Oliveira – in times of quarantine. Titled ‘I, You, Him,’ it shows the couple practicing social distancing and going on a date over video, to watch SKY programming together. However, Duda’s cousin Jonas (played by Pedro Benevides) crashes their date and puts a quick end to the romantic mood of the couple. The 30” and 15” versions of the video will be shown on broadcast TV, online media, and SKY social networks.

The project ‘We have fun... Together?’ is inspired in real stories and will show, until the end of the year, everyday situations in the lives of a couple who has been separated by the quarantine. Recorded in the standard of the group’s skits – shot at the homes of each actor and in a format that is completely adapted to the pandemic – the initiative reflects the changes in the company’s communication strategy, which has been working with a new positioning statement since February: “SKY. We have fun together.
