Three UK has announced the appointment of Katrina Ward-Smith as director of brand and marketing communications.
After taking on the interim position earlier this year, Kat now steps into the role permanently and will be responsible for establishing Three UK as one of Britain’s best loved brands. Kat is tasked with the strategic direction of the brand and for helping to evolve the company’s marketing strategy.
Ward-Smith joins Three from Telefónica, where she most recently held the position of head of creative, media and content after having served eight years in various senior campaign and brand roles with O2.
Kat reports directly into Shadi Halliwell, chief marketing officer (CMO) and sits alongside five other divisional directors within the marketing function that all report into Shadi.
