Katjes, one of the biggest German sweet manufacturers, has launched an ad to put a spotlight on its vegetarian gummy sweets.
The claim is that “every life is precious“ and the spot features a girl who owns a three-legged dog, showing us that we can happily eat only vegetarian, gelatin-free sweets, which all Katjes products are (in contrast to most manufacturers of gummy bears and other chewy sweets, who use pig and cow gelatin).
The campaign was created by antoni Jellyhouse, antoni’s tailormade agency for the brand, who previously broke a taboo by featuring a woman breastfeeding in an ad.
