'Tinned Pears' from Libby Burke Wilde and The Progress Film Company tells of one family's food struggles in the UK

This Powerful Short Follows the Struggles of Food Poverty

Libby Burke Wilde directs ‘Tinned Pears’, a blisteringly powerful and relevant short film made with the incredible charity Chefs in Schools which follows a young family living in food poverty here in the UK.

With the government voting against the provision of free school meals over holidays in recent days, this is an issue which is showing no signs of going away. We all know that the economic climate is tough but tackling the growing problem of child food insecurity must be a priority for the government.
