Revolver Films director John Grammatico helms the piece entitled 'TIM (The Invisible Me)' with music from SYML

Commercial filmmaker John Grammatico has released a new short film in collaboration with musical artist, SYML, called TIM (The Invisible Me). TIM is the story of an insecure student who must find the courage to be seen.

The project was produced by Shine Box Media Group with support from Little Saint Media John's trusted industry contacts within The Mill, Cutters and Yessian Music.

John has helmed spots in the past for brands such as AT&T, McDonald's, M&Ms and Ford and worked with celebrities like Meghan Markle and Anna Faris. His breast cancer PSA, 'Your Man Reminder,' won a Webby Award and first place at TED's Ideas Worth Spreading, garnering almost 8 million hits on YouTube.

When asked about the inspiration for his film, John said: "As a father, it's an interesting thing to step into your child's school environment. I guess I forgot what a complex world that can be. It's hard not to notice how some kids make choices to stand out while others just try to disappear. With TIM, I wanted characters from each end of that spectrum to confront each other. To make a connection. But I wanted to do it in a way that showed empathy for both. Tim is about what it feels like to be denied human connectivity. The longing that comes with that. I feel we all can relate to that, in their own way. In the end, it was made for anyone who's ever felt invisible."

John is repped by Little Saint Media in the US and Revolver Films in Canada.
