This Christmas season, LOLA MullenLowe turns the concept of the most beautiful Christmas jumper on it’s head by showcasing how a single gesture can save a life.
The jumper, with one sleeve shorter than the other, was created by LOLA MullenLowe for ‘l’Agence de la biomédecine’ in order to drive awareness surrounding bone marrow donation.
LOLA MullenLowe came up with the idea of having one sleeve shorter than the other so that the wearer’s bare arm is in full view and reminds people that a bone marrow donation can be done by simply giving blood.
This initiative has the possibility of going viral. On receipt of the Christmas jumper journalists and influencers are invited to wear and share photos of them across their social media networks and mobilise their followers to donate their bone marrow. Partnerships with the likes of Julien Ménielle, Youtube Presenter of ‘Dans ton Corps’ and l’instagram star Baptiste Lorber. These influencers are going to create a video and story, dedicated to this movement.
