It's a human truth that the more knowledge is shared, the bigger impact it has. The more children it speaks to, connects with or inspires – the better. Whether it be the steps to a dance, craft, or strange facts about space, knowledge can make young minds flourish and grow towards better tomorrows. IDELLO - a public media organisation which produces and distributes French-language educational content in Canada - believes knowledge must be shared generously with everyone, and made for everyone – the kind of knowledge that comes from many sources, that is relevant, speaks to everyone and is welcoming.
To communicate this belief, Juniper Park\TBWA and Le Parc, in partnership with award-winning Ontario-based production house I Am Static, created and produced a beautiful 60-second animated short film, Le Vent (The Wind), which uses a playful being of wind as a symbol of wisdom travelling and inspiring young minds.
The style of illustration was made to be akin to images in a storybook, classical and endearing, with traditional-looking pencil strokes, using the colour palette of IDELLO.
“We are so glad to have had the chance to collaborate with TFO to tell a very human and poetic fable about the magic of sharing knowledge, that is truly timeless,” says Jenny Glover, executive creative director at Juniper Park\TBWA.
