Cream, the global showcase of the twenty hottest young
creative teams and individuals as chosen by the industry's most influential
figureheads, won two awards at Creative Circle last Thursday. Now in its 17th year, the initiative has
identified some of the biggest names in creative talent at the earliest stages
of their career and is supported by The Talent Business, the world leader in
executive search for creative businesses.
The invites for last year’s Rough Diamond private view were designed by Grey, shot by Rankin and won a Bronze award for best Photography Campaign and a Bronze for best Flyer/ Ticket/ Card Campaign at Creative Circle. The photography for the invite is featured on the Cream website.
“It’s an amazing achievement to get our Cream work
recognised by London’s creative community, Grey and Rankin were a perfect
creative partnership. Finding brilliant talent - the lifeblood of agencies -
continues to be one of the toughest challenges the industry faces. Our global
reach means that we are able to offer this unique platform that connects the
industry’s top ECDs with the most promising young creative talent from all over
the world, who in turn we hope will be the future leaders of their agencies. We
are very excited to be planning the event for 2016,” says Tanya Livesey, Global Head
of Creative Talent at The Talent Business.
Recent winners of Cream have found that the competition has
led to immediate offers of placements and full-time jobs, from agencies such as
adam&eveDDB, Mother, Droga5 London and Wieden + Kennedy.
Judging takes place throughout July and August, when a dedicated jury made up of senior creative directors from the world’s leading advertising agencies and creative businesses select the most pioneering work. Twenty winners will be chosen for 2016, they will showcase their work at a Private View to be held at Ogilvy & Mather London later this year. Deadline for entries is 18th July to 22nd July 2016.
