After the recent success of Flaura’s latest two edits for Massive Attack’s music promo ‘Come Near Me’ and the online mini series campaign for GQ/Burberry written and directed by Rattling Stick’s Ed Morris and Sara Dunlop respectively, Flaura completes her hat trick of new work with this patriotic commercial celebrating Aldi’s sponsorship of Team GB at this years Rio Olympics.
This heart warming film, penned by McCanns Manchester and directed by Nice Shirt’s Stuart Douglas, showcases home grown British athletes in training alongside shots of Great home grown produce courtesy of the Great British Farmer topped off with shots of customers coming together with a Great sense of community under the perfect umbrella soundtrack of Elgar’s Nimrod.
“It was great to work with Stuart on this and help to Champion Great Britain! Everything was shot so beautifully in Stuart’s doco-style which made it a joy to edit with. I enjoyed weaving together the farmers and the athletes in their journeys. I feel like this spot has a lot of energy and a lot of pride in it to showcase the great produce and the great athletic talent we have here” comments Flaura.
