The One Club announced today the film, cross-platform, direct and print & outdoor finalists for the 43rd Annual One Show Awards, the most prestigious worldwide competition celebrating the year's best in all forms of advertising, design and marketing communications. There are finalists from 40 countries.
One Show judges shared some of their observations about the work they saw in their respective disciplines this year.
“Emoji keyboards are everywhere,” said Malcolm Poynton (Direct), Global CCO, Cheil Worldwide/London
Icaro Doria (Cross-Platform), CCO, DDB/New York, said: “There’s a lot of attempts to do interesting things with VR.”
“The old distinctions between online film and offline are becoming more blurred,” noted Ben Tollett (Film), ECD, adam&eveDDB/London.
“Print is now so closely linked with the Internet," said Eugene Cheong (Print & Outdoor), CCO, Ogilvy & Mather/Asia Pacific/Singapore.
