Award-winning original music house, production music library and all-in content studio welcome Sydney Ferleger as first ever president for all three companies combined

The Music Playground, The Diner, and The Station are excited to announce that Sydney Ferleger will be stepping up as the first-ever standing president for all three companies combined. Sydney has been the acting executive producer for The Music Playground and The Station for the past year and a half and will be adding The Diner to her repertoire.

Sydney will continue her duties as executive producer, but will step it up a notch as she combines her EP functions with her new role as president.  “Sydney has done an incredible job diving into every aspect of our business and improving it. She is truly one of the few producers who can put together the right creative puzzle pieces and drive the very best possible client outcomes” said founder, Drew Stein. “Even through such an intense moment in history where our industry has been so challenged, Sydney has risen to the occasion for our clients and our team and we have been so very grateful for her passion and perseverance.”

“I’m excited to see where this new chapter takes our companies. I have already been working with our teams across music, sound design, audio post, editorial, animation, motion graphics and finishing and it’s been a great experience to work side-by-side with such truly talented colleagues,” commented Sydney. “I can already feel our dynamic as an integrated team across our three companies growing stronger. Although Covid has been tough for everyone, I am proud of our team for sticking together so closely for our clients and each other and working so seamlessly through these unprecedented times.”

“My love for working with The Music Playground and The Station just got ridiculous. I first worked with Sydney on a very challenging original music assignment for a DTC brand. No matter how many challenges were dropped in front of us Sydney always responded with a calm and level-headed solution; even if that solution meant working straight through the night. That professionalism and commitment meant the world to not only me, but also my entire creative and account teams. I’m so thrilled for her. I know that she'll play a key role in the continued success of the companies,” praised David Schiavone, executive producer and head of production, Giant Spoon. “Since then we’ve enjoyed working with Sydney and her team on projects for HBO and Activision,” added David.

Sydney will remain in the New York office as she dives into this role. She’s a prolific producer, recently having worked with brands and networks such as Pepsi, Kraft, Spectrum, and MTV. “We already have so much love for our brands and an incredible, established reputation as a hard-working creative shop. I’m excited to use these building blocks and great relationships to take our companies to the next level.”
