Manchester-based production company has picked up plenty of trophies along the way including Cannes Lions, LIA, Clio, BAFTA and more

The Mob Celebrates 20th Year Anniversary
The Mob Film Company is celebrating 20 years of production, and has released a video showcasing snippets of its biggest and most memorable commercials from the 90s through to present day. The company was formed back in 1998 and quickly established itself as a high-end production house creating memorable commercials for the likes of Cannes Lions Gold winning commercial for Cancer Research ‘I shouldn’t be here’ campaign, PC World to Darth Vader appearing in a Tunes spot and won 2 Cannes Lions for its VW ‘Cuckoo’ film.

A decade on The Mob expanded into Manchester and opened its specialist sport devision, Mob Sport, making it one of the first production companies to partner with leading football clubs shooting commercials and content for global brand sponsors. Mob Sport now produces global content for a broad range of sports including cycling for Team Sky and Virgin Racing.

Recent campaigns include blockbuster director Paul WS Anderson’s Audi film starring Daniel Bruhl, Channel 4’s Bosch sponsorship idents, Thorpe Park 'The Walking Dead’ and record breaking player launch films for Fred & Sanchez for Manchester United. 

The Mob has picked up plenty of trophies along the way including Cannes Lions, LIA, Clio, BAFTA, RTS, Roses & several Marketing effectiveness awards.
