The Mill has announced it is expanding its global directorial roster with the addition of up and coming British filmmaker Jessica Bishopp.
Jessica’s docu-style is influenced by subcultures and myth, she explores universal themes embedded in our daily lives and thoughts within her work. Her work stands as a testament to crafting human stories and the nuances uncovered within. Examples of her work include The Art of Change Shorts: Identity / Like Me for The Barbican and An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Sussex for Nowness and PAMPAS for Channel 4 Random Acts which was also nominated for Best Documentary at BAFTA, BIFA and Oscar qualifying Aspen Shortsfest this year.
Previously independently represented, Jessica joins The Mill’s now 40+ strong global roster of directors across London, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Berlin.
