As the digital world is constantly innovating and impacting the way media is managed, The Media Kitchen (TMK) has appointed Jonathan Kim to the role of Digital Engineering Director. In this role – which is a brand new role at the agency – Jonathan will capitalize on the curiosity that follows the digital trend and facilitate the adoption of new tech under empirical analyses.
A major friction point in the media marketplace is how to use data derived from programmatic strategies across all digital channels. In his new role, Jonathan will be helping all ranks at TMK connect these dots. Also, with clients becoming increasingly more involved in ad tech and caring what technology their agencies are using to manage their digital investments, Jonathan will continually evaluate TMK’s tools and improve upon them to benefit clients as well as the agency.
Digital trends that will be Jonathan’s primary focus this year include cross channel attribution, viewability, cross device attribution, and programmatic buying. In addition to his client responsibilities, Jonathan will also serve as the liaison between kbs+ Ventures and TMK – connecting the future of technology with today’s agency and brands.
