The Indie Awards Announces 2021 Winners

The annual awards programme for independent agencies, The Indie Awards, was held on 30th November 2021 in London.

The Indie Awards is the only global awards programme specifically designed for independent agencies, judged by independent agencies. The event attracted guests both in-person and virtually via live stream and was organised by thenetworkone, the world’s largest network of independent agencies.

“The Indie Awards is a celebration of the independent sector”, says Stephanie Fox, International Consultant at thenetworkone and one of the organisers of The Indie Awards, “we’ve had entries from all over the world, and we’re proud to showcase the amazing creativity, innovation and effectiveness of their work”.

The Indie Awards were judged by a panel of esteemed, diverse agency leaders, including Chairpeople Gareth Leck, co-founder & group CEO of Joe Public in South Africa; Girish Balachandran, managing partner of ON PURPOSE in India; Kate Midttun, CEO of Acorn Strategy in the UAE; Glenda Wynyard, managing director of The Media Precinct in Australia; Tara Turkington, CEO of Flow Communications in South Africa and Claire Hynes, founder of Mr President in the UK.

On behalf of the judges, thenetworkone are delighted to announce the Gold winners of the six categories:

The top prize of the night, the ‘Best-In-Show’, went to Optimist Group for their campaign, ’14 is not OK’. The effective piece of work was created for the Estonian Sexual Health Association - Eesti Seksuaaltervise Liit, highlighting an Estonian law that was putting children at risk, which was subsequently changed.

Bronze and Silver prizes were also awarded by the judges. To view all of the winning work, visit The Indie Awards website

Thenetworkone would like to express congratulations to all agencies who entered The Indie Awards. The standard of work was exceptionally high, reflecting the fantastic work produced by independent marketing and communications agencies this year.
