For the first time ever, leading names from the Canadian ad industry are uniting to created a dedicated Canadian jury at this year's Immortal Awards.
The jury will be selecting the very best work to come out of the market this year and send it on to compete in the regional North American round of judging.
The North American competition, which is supported by
Whitehouse Post and includes local US, Canadian and a regional jury, will determine which of the market's best creative advertising will qualify for a place in the final, global round of judging.
The Immortal Awards, hosted by Little Black Book and free to enter for all of the platform’s members, successfully introduced regional judging last year and is now introducing local competitions for 2021.
It is the first time that Canada has its own dedicated jury at the Immortals and includes Cossette's Peter Ignazi, Zulu Alpha Kilo's Zak Mroueh, Broken Heart Love Affair's Denise Rossetto, Frank Content's Danielle Kappy, Taxi's Alexis Bronstorph and Nice Shoes' Harv Glazer.
Paul Monan, awards director at Little Black Book, comments: “We've introduced local juries this year to give markets a spotlight on the global stage like never before. Canada is a wonderful market for creativity, we see phenomenal Canadian work entered into the Immortals each year and we're excited to get our jurors selecting the best of the best to go into the regional round of judging and compete against US. We want the best work to be judged locally, regionally and globally and having a Canadian jury ensures only the very best, as judged by local luminaries, goes through to the next round. We can't wait to see which work they deem to be Canada's best this year."

Denise Rossetto (Partner & Chief Creative Officer, Broken Heart Love Affair)
