The Immortal Awards has completed a three-day tour of New York, taking the inaugural winners reel to creatives across the city in a series of intimate showcases.
Stopping off at 72andSunny, Barbarian, BBDO, Publicis Group, VMLY&R and WundermanThompson, the in-house screenings were warmly received across the city as the Immortals continues its missions to inspire creatives around the world.
Commenting on the trip, Matt Cooper, Founder of Little Black Book, said: “Taking creativity to the world is our mission and we’ve had a great response to these personal, intimate screenings. We believe that it’s important for creatives of every seniority and department to be seeing that incredible work is being produced in all corners of the globe. For young creatives, these screenings are invaluable as not everyone gets to go to the various festivals around world. These events are totally inclusive for everyone, and in the Immortal Awards we’ve built winners reel that the industry loves and we want everyone to see it!”
The in-house screenings are running in parallel to the international showcases, having so far been shown to creative companies of all sizes in in London, New York and Paris. The Immortal Awards will continue to head in-house to showcase the winners reel. With just 4 Immortal winners and a further 12 Commendations, the reel itself is refreshingly short and packed full of the best international work from last year.
With trips to Amsterdam and Hamburg imminent, the tour will continue around the world throughout the summer with more dates and locations to be announced in the coming weeks.
