Dedicated US jury put 33 projects on shortlist, with nine finalists proceeding to North American regional round of judging

The Immortal Awards has today unveiled the shortlist and finalists from the USA, following a virtual round of judging on Monday 4th October, hosted in partnership with global partners Nice Shoes and regional partners Whitehouse Post.

The Immortal Awards successfully introduced regional judging last year and has taken this one step further by introducing local rounds for 2021.

In total, the 33 highest scoring projects from across the first round of US judging made this year’s shortlist. The 33 projects were then debated by a local jury in a virtual round of discussions to determine which projects, if any, should receive finalist status and proceed to the North American round of judging, alongside finalists from Canada. Nine US entries have been selected as finalists and have qualified for the regional round of judging. The finalists are as follows (and you can check out all the work further down the page):

The regional North American round of judging will take place on Friday 15th of October, with a North American jury selecting which projects will go on to the final round.

The final, global round of judging will then take place on Thursday 18th November, in which all regional finalists will compete for an Immortal Award or Commendation status.

Those on the US jury were Ron Lewis (Group Creative Director of Grey Health & Wellness), Helen Pak (Senior Vice President, Creative of Disney), Tim Gordon (Co-Chief Creative Officer of Droga5 New York), Margaret Johnson (Chief Creative Officer & Partner of GS&P), Manuel Bordé (Global Chief Creative Officer at VMLY&R COMMERCE), Kathleen Hall (Corporate Vice President, Brand, Advertising and Research at Microsoft), Tiffany Rolfe (Global Chief Creative Officer at R/GA), Oliver Fuselier (Managing Director & Executive Producer at Great Guns USA), Heidi Black (Partner & Editor at Whitehouse Post), Davud Karbassioun (Global President of Pulse Films), and Ali Brown (President of PRETTYBIRD).
