49 projects make it through to the virtual round of regional judging
The Immortal Awards has today unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural North American competition, ahead of the virtual round of judging on Friday 16th October.

In total, 49 projects from across the region made this year’s shortlist. The 49 highest scoring pieces of work from the first round of judging will be debated in a virtual round of discussions to determine which projects, if any, will receive Finalist status and go through to the final, global round of judging in November.

It is in the final round of judging when projects may be awarded Immortal or Commendation status. So far, seven projects are through to the final round of judging following the conclusion of the LATAM jury session on Tuesday.

Entries to this year’s Immortal Awards were up 50% globally, with entries received from 52 countries.

Those on the first-ever North American jury are David Rubin, chief marketing officer of The New York Times, Kinney Edwards, global creative lead of TikTok, Tiffany Rolfe, global chief creative officer of R/GA, Liz Taylor, global chief creative officer of Leo Burnett, Joe Sciarrotta, deputy chief creative officer of Ogilvy Worldwide, Per Pedersen, global creative chairman, Shayne Millington, global executive creative director of McCann New York, Samira Ansari, executive creative director of FCB New York, Amy Carvajal, chief creative officer of Code & Theory, Lora Schulson, director of production for 72&Sunny NYC, Chris Duffey, sr strategic development manager of Adobe Design, and Lauren Connolly, executive vice president and global executive creative director of BBDO New York.
