The Immortal Awards Announces LATAM Shortlist
The Immortal Awards has today unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural LATAM competition, ahead of the virtual round of judging on Tuesday 13th November.

In total, 21 projects from across the region made this year’s shortlist. The 21 highest scoring pieces of work from the first round of judging will be debated in a virtual round of discussions to determine which projects, if any, will receive Finalist status and go through to the final, global round of judging in November. It is in the final round of judging when projects may be awarded Immortal or Commendation status.

Entries to this year’s Immortal Awards were up 50% globally, with entries received from 52 countries. Within the LATAM competition, shortlisted entries come from nine countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Mexico, Peru, USA and Uruguay.

Those on the first-ever LATAM jury were Fernando Machado, global chief marketing officer of Restaurant Brands International, Juan Carlos Ortiz, president and CEO of DDB Latina, Claudio Lima, chief creative officer of Cheil Brazil, Diana Triana, general creative director of McCann Colombia, Luiz Sanches, chairman and chief creative officer of AlmapBBDO, Carlos Andres Rodriguez, chief creative officer of MullenLowe SSP3, and Fernando Campos, partner and chief creative officer of Santa Clara M&C Saatchi.

Work that is awarded Finalist status by the jury on Tuesday, therefore qualifying for the global round of judging on 20th November, will be announced on Thursday 15th October.
