35 projects make it through to the virtual round of regional judging
The Immortal Awards has today unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural Asia Pacific competition, ahead of the virtual round of judging on Friday 23rd October.

In total, 35 projects from across the region made this year’s shortlist. The 35 highest scoring pieces of work from the first round of judging will be debated in a virtual round of discussions to determine which projects, if any, will receive Finalist status and go through to the final, global round of judging in November.

It is in the final round of judging that projects may be awarded Immortal or Commendation status. So far, 14 projects are through to the final round of judging following the announcements of the seven LATAM Finalists and seven North American Finalists.

Entries to this year’s Immortal Awards were up 50% globally, with entries received from 52 countries.

Those on the first-ever Asia Pacific jury are Joakim Borgström, worldwide chief creative officer of BBH, Tara Ford, chief creative officer of DDB Sydney, Paul Chan, chief creative officer of Cheil Hong Kong, Abi Aquino, chief creative officer of MullenLowe Philippines, Tony Liu, chairman and chief creative officer of M&C Saatchi aeiou and Keegan Pinto, national creative director of FCBUlka, and Barry Greaves, creative director of MPC Shanghai.

Work that is awarded Finalist status by the jury on Friday, therefore qualifying for the global round of judging on November 20th, will be announced on Tuesday 27th October.
