This marks The Gate’s 52nd FCS award in seven years

The Gate | New York continued its win streak at the 22th FCS Portfolio Awards for its client Nasdaq at the annual gala on Thursday, April 28th in New York. The agency won a Gold Trophy in the prestigious TV category. This marks The Gate’s 52nd FCS award in seven years.

The Portfolio Awards are produced by the Financial Communications Society (FCS) to recognize excellence in financial advertising, collateral, digital media, public relations and return on investment. The marketing and communications work honored was executed during the 2015 calendar year.

“The Gate is honoured to be recognised by the FCS for the 52nd time in seven years,” said Beau Fraser, president of The Gate | New York. “Nasdaq has been a great client partner for nearly three years. We look forward to creating more groundbreaking and award-winning work together and plan to be back next year with more worthy entrants.”

The FCS Portfolio Awards Gala, the largest and most prestigious show for financial marketers in the world, attracted over 425 guests from the advertising, PR, media, design and financial industries.

This year’s awards were presented by Rich Aneser, CMO of Lincoln Financial, Renée Baker, senior marketing manager for Aberdeen Asset Management, Rebecca Bales, director at Pershing, Allison Bennett, CMO of business at JP Morgan Chase, Jessica Douieb, managing director at Goldman Sachs, Elena French, vice president and head of creative services at TIAA, Tracy Reilly, VP integrated brand strategy at Prudential and John von Brachel, vice president at Bank of America.

This annual competition included nearly 425 entries this year, with Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies awarded for television, print, direct mail, out of home, annual reports, collateral, branded content, integrated media, public relations, event marketing, social media, website, web video, mobile, email, display rich media and apps and tools categories. Winning entries were received from financial services providers, including investment firms, credit card companies, investment banks, brokerages and exchanges, insurance companies, mutual funds, ETFs, clearing corporations and commercial banks.
