TBWA\Chiat\Day NY announces the arrival of the Formula E in Brooklyn with a striking OOH campaign

To announce the arrival of the Formula E Series in Brooklyn, which brings together eleven electric racing teams to showcase the future of racing power under the Manhattan skyline, TBWA\Chiat\Day New York and Nissan created a highly-visual OOH campaign featuring Brooklyn neighborhoods as seen from the cockpit of a Formula E car.

TBWA\Chiat\Day NY was inspired by the question: what would the borough’s streets look like at the speeds these vehicles reach? The result was a series of beautiful, colorful visuals — fitting imagery, given how EVs and Nissan Intelligent Mobility are making the future of racing look brighter and more beautiful than ever.



For the final two races of the ABB Formula E championship in Red Hook, Brooklyn, Nissan is also hosting a consumer activation to showcase its leadership in electrification. On Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, Nissan will host an immersive consumer experience on the sidelines of the last two races of the ABB Formula E championship in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Attendees will be able to watch the race, try a VR driving simulator and check out the Nissan Formula E car, 2019 Nissan LEAF and LEAF NISMO RC.
