The Explainers Announce Nathan Fitzpatrick as Commercial Lead

The Explainers, a digital communications studio focused on videos, infographics, and content strategy has announced the appointment of Nathan Fitzpatrick as commercial lead.

Fitzpatrick’s appointment comes at a time of growth for The Explainers which has recently completed work as diverse as titles for the latest series of Mythbusters, to internal staff videos for Westpac and an education campaign to raise awareness of same sex relationship rights in Africa.

The Explainers managing director Matt Taylor said Fitzpatrick will be charged with nurturing existing relationships and developing new ones as the business matures.

“We’ve had an amazing couple of years since we launched and Nathan will help us take the next step on the road to our future business,” Taylor said.

“Explainer videos are a growth market, as more and more companies recognise the potential of the medium to effectively communicate and engage with audiences, and to drive behaviour change,” he added.

Fitzpatrick has a background in business development and sales and marketing in the music industry, as well as sales and marketing in the Australian, UK and European travel industry.

His appointment is effective immediately.

The Explainers already numbers among its clients Kinetic Super, Westpac, City of Sydney, Telstra, Associated Press, Tourism Australia, Shine Australia, Human Rights Commission and BT Financial Group.
