An Australian born, Shanghai based editor who’s repped by Spot Welders and has a penchant for Kpop music videos, cookies and running
Matt Osborne is an Australian born, self-taught editor who is plying his trade at Spot Welders in Shanghai. Like many filmmakers, he was drawn to the industry through a love of skating - he started editing skate videos in his teenage years back in the mid-’90s with two VHS decks, and was always naturally drawn to editing. He loves snowboarding and spent about five years after high school working in various ski resorts in Australia and Canada before he started his editing career. He also ran his first marathon in Tokyo in March of last year, and Korean variety shows and cookies are his guilty pleasure.
