The Essential List: Agnius Kazlauskas

Aggy graduated with a BA in journalism in 2022 and is currently pursuing a part-time Master of Science in digital marketing. He's been working at Here Be Dragons since January 2022, initially as an intern and then as a full-time account & social media executive.

Now a senior account & social media executive, Aggy helps look after the busy press office for Beavertown Brewery, having previously worked on a number of exciting companies and brands in the likes of Disney, Roof East, and Rooftop Film Club.

• Staycation: Probably my hometown. I highly recommend visiting it

• Vacation: I visited Amsterdam last month — not sure if it's the lingering thrill of the visit, but I already want to go back… 

• Pet: A shih-tzu named Archie… Who I miss dearly. Every. Single. Day

• Video game: Minecraft… Speaking with my friends from all across the world on Skype while playing survival games is still one of my favourite childhood memories

Food and Drink

• Breakfast: Overnight oats… or crêpe rolls with nutella and bananas (a true childhood staple) 

• Restaurant: The Toast Rack Bake House. I used to be a waiter there and I simply still love the food that they serve

• Cheap bite: Greggs (where, funny enough, I used to work as well)

• Working lunch: Listen, I’m no chef… Probably buckwheat and vegetables

• Favourite dish: Steak and chips. Sue me

• Signature dish: I make a bangin’ chilli

• Snack: An almond croissant

• Guilty pleasure: Diet Coke

• Bar: 601 Queen's Rd… or, as of recently, The Old Hat in Ealing

• Booze: A pint at the local pub — either some sort of a cider or IPA

• Bonus food: Throwing whatever I’ve got — potatoes, bell peppers, etc. — on the grill and enjoying it with a nice, cold beer (fun fact: earlier this summer, I cooked shashlik for the first time in my life, with the help of one of my best friends)

• Computer: Got a MacBook for work, and my good ol’ Huawei MateBook 13 for personal projects (which I bought in the middle of covid… multiple drops and water spills later, it’s still as durable as ever)

• Pen / pencil: Whichever I can convince my colleagues to lend me

• Where you document an idea: Either the Notes app or a notepad

• Casual clothing: A white tee, black shorts, a beige cap… and a thrifted jacket

• Footwear: Always the same pair of trainers on rotation… until they’re fully worn out
