Podium, the digital event service by B2B agency The Croc, is launching a two day event with The Insurance Development Forum (IDF) called ‘Building Resilience in a Risker world: Actions towards a climate resilient future’
Some of the biggest names in climate and insurance will be speaking at the event, including: David Malpass, president, World Bank Group, Kristalina Georgieva, managing director, IMF, Alfred Alfred, minister of finance, Republic of the Marshall Islands & V20 co-chair, Mark Carney, UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance & UK Prime Minister's COP26 Finance Advisor, and Juergen Zattler, director general, BMZ.
The event will address harrowing issues such as: How are global organisations and governments viewing the current challenges and opportunities when addressing global climate risk, the learnings we can take from the response to the COVID-19 crisis and views on how industry and government can work to facilitate risk ownership across the board.
It will take place on June 7th-8th covering four hours each day (1pm-5pm BST) and is free for all to attend.
Podium is a step up in the virtual event space, it is a full event service covering everything from design, strategy, content and marketing and pre and post-event comms.
