Vietnam - one of the very first nations with cases of Covid-19 recorded - have successfully contained the pandemic, and on 23rd April officially lifted the national lockdown.
Rolling out aggressive measures before the first cases were detected in the country - from early declaration of national emergency to implementing international travel bans, public mask-wearing, social distancing, and weeks of home confinement - resulted in relatively low infection rate and zero casualties.
