The Corner Shop Opens Its Doors

Director Peter Thwaites and Producer Anna Hashmi announce their new small and creatively driven production company, ‘The Corner Shop’.

The pair started working together in 2008, and in 2009 Thwaites was awarded at the DGA for his work. Since then they worked on many award-winning productions during their partnership at Gorgeous where they departed this summer. The obvious choice for them was to continue working together, starting their own shop and laying the foundations to create a company to accommodate like minded talent.

The company will be based in Los Angeles, and will be represented by Resource on the west coast, Mary-Kate Hatfield in the mid west and Ziegler/Jakubowicz on the east coast.

In the UK they are partnering with Outsider, Les Telecreateurs in France and Czar in Germany.
