Agency will work with the Social Enterprise to develop a new brand positioning, visual identity and comms campaign

Independent creative agency, The Corner, announces today its corporate partnership with The House of St Barnabas (Barnabas), a private members club in the heart of Soho, explicitly set up to help break the cycle of homelessness.

Through their Employment Academy, now in its 20th year of operation, Barnabas takes people at risk of homelessness and puts them through a holistic, tailored programme of training and long term support in order to secure good work, a good home and a good network for them. Barnabas are a leading voice in the conversation around homelessness and are committed to sustainable, long-lasting change.

Barnabas attracts a truly diverse membership and community, hosting everything form world class live acts in its unique chapel (think Hot Chip & Gilles Peterson) to thought-provoking talks and contemporary art exhibitions from artist such as Banksy, Basquiat, The Chapman Brothers, Tracey Emin, Roxy Walsh and Tom Gallant.

Barnabas counts Brian Cox, Sienna Guillory, Jarvis Cocker, Miranda Sawyer, Ron Arad and Peter Capaldi amongst its founding members.

The Corner will work with the Social Enterprise to develop a new brand positioning, visual identity and comms campaign.

Gillian Jackson, director of engagement of The House of St Barnabas says: “We are thrilled to be working with The Corner to support our brand refresh. It’s a brilliant opportunity to articulate who we are as an organisation, as our Social Enterprise has done a lot of growing during the last 9 years, but the brand has stayed the same. Our mission, to Break the Cycle of Homelessness, is still central to everything we do, but our focus on community, creativity and diversity is more important now than ever  before. The Corner’s focus on purpose makes their agency a natural and exciting fit for us.”

Jonny Angel, managing director, The Corner says: "We are immensely proud to announce our partnership with the House of St Barnabas. As fellow members of the Soho community, we are acutely aware of the enormous problem homelessness represents. The Corner believes that the world doesn’t need more brands, it needs more better brands, and we can’t think of a better brand to donate our skills to than the House of St Barnabas."
