Progressive cross-cultural agency the community, part of SapientNitro, announced today that it has been named the digital AOR for Beam Suntory’s tequila portfolio following a review.
Since early 2013, the community has been the above-the-line creative agency of record for Beam Suntory’s tequila portfolio – Sauza, Hornitos and Sauza 901. In the past year, the brands began to leverage the community’s robust digital and social capabilities and tapped the agency to launch Sauza 901, the super smooth, super-premium tequila collaboration between Beam Suntory and Justin Timberlake, solely through digital and social channels, with great success.

The agency’s expanded scope of work will now also include strategy, ideation, production, launch and measurement of digital and social campaigns for Beam Suntory’s tequila brands. The new work is expected to roll out in the coming months.

In the past 15 months, in partnership with SapientNitro, the community has invested heavily in their digital and social offerings and now handles digital and social pieces of business for over 80% of their clients.
