The BIO Agency have appointed Mike Williams, an award-winning digital planner with nearly 20 years experience across a wide range of worldwide brands, as Strategy Director. The hire reflects The BIO Agency’s continued growth and commitment to help brands transform their business for the digital age.
Williams joins from digital marketing agency Critical Mass, where he was Planning Director leading digital strategy for Chivas, Citi and South African Tourist Board.
Prior to joining Critical Mass he spent three years at start-up ubermore.com as Digital Innovation Strategist. Williams has also worked for global agencies, Isobar and The Brand Union as Digital Strategist and Head of Digital respectively.
He was the founding employee of Dare Digital and became head of planning, establishing the reputation of the agency with multi-award winning work for Yell, Lynx and X-Box.
At The BIO Agency Williams will be responsible for leading the strategy team and developing digital strategy for key clients, such as Halfords. He will be based in The BIO Agency’s London office and will report directly to Peter Veash, Chief Executive.
