The Berry have brought old tech to life with their newly-released playful and action-packed films for CeX. Incredibly detailed set design, humorous puppeteering and intentionally low-budget filmmaking methods were all combined together to create a fun and cheeky style to showcase how old tech can be saved, reused and traded in for cash! The series of films were produced by The Berry, directed by The Berry Boys and stars impressive voice performances by comedian and impressionist Schieffer Bates.

The films recreate iconic scenes from Spider-Man, Squid Game, Star Wars, Super Mario, Jurassic Park, and Lord of the Rings and each explores the idea of not messing around with your old tech… and instead; trading them in for cash.
The Berry team and Scale Model Studios worked together to create miniature sets, miniature props, and puppet characters made out of old tech - including mobile phones, games consoles, smart watches and more!
Combining live-action footage with CGI and VFX is what The Berry are best known for… And what a pleasure it was to bring a mix-media brief like this one into fruition for CeX - This project certainly was a Complete Entertainment Exchange!
