The Bank has been appointed by Neff, the UK’s leading built-in appliance brand, to handle its advertising account following a pitch.
The Bank, which competed against undisclosed agencies for the business, will now create an above-the-line campaign for Neff to run across digital, press, and retail outlets, breaking later this year.
The agency has been briefed to further develop Neff's recognisable brand personality and make it the brand of choice for people with a passion for cooking.
The new campaign will aim to break from the uniformity in the home appliances category and raise brand awareness of Neff, with a focus on its unique Slide&Hide® oven, featuring the manufacturer’s patented ‘disappearing’ door
Neff launched its ‘Bake It Yourself’ campaign in 2012 to mark the brand’s 40th anniversary, establishing the largest online baking community in Europe. ‘Bake It Yourself’ includes dedicated Facebook and Twitter channels, cooking demonstrations and national shows designed to encourage people to bake at home.
Sara Simpson, Marketing Manager, Neff, said: “I am delighted to announce that we will be working with The Bank to deliver the Neff experience to an even wider audience of culinary enthusiasts.”
“Baking and cooking inspire passion in people the world over, and we were pleased to discover that The Bank’s team shared this passion for Neff and ‘Bake It Yourself’ - served up with lashings of creative expertise and an impressive portfolio. On behalf of Neff and the ‘Bake It Yourself’ community I would like to extend a very warm welcome to The Bank, and look forward to an exciting few months as we work with them to develop our future communications strategy.”
Tristan Connell, Managing Director, The Bank said: “It’s a sea of sameness within the home appliances industry and we’re excited to work with a brave client who is willing to break the category rules.”
