The Advertising Association works closely with the Department for International Trade to promote UK advertising around the world through our UKAEG community. This year their virtual strategy has secured new business for UK companies in their export community. For example, their efforts in China have secured over £21 million for companies in the community in the past 12 months. Following the success of these events they are now heading on a world tour, hosting virtual opportunities to meet and hear from UK advertising.
Next Tuesday they are opening the virtual doors to UK House at UAE – where UK and the UAE advertising industries come together to meet and share ideas and you can sign up to attend here.

And UK House stays open all day for viewing of our showcase of UK Cannes Lions winners and agency showcases.
Julian Douglas, international chief executive and vice-chairman of VCCP and IPA President, comments: “Following a decade of growth the UK advertising services industry is currently at an all-time high. At the Cannes Lions this summer 46 British advertising and marketing companies won a whopping 135 awards, including 11 Grands Prix which is 11 more than at the last Cannes Lions in 2019, and second globally only to the USA. The creativity coming out of the UK is truly world class – and now is the time to capitalise on this success and secure a second decade of growth. I urge all companies looking to grow their international revenues to get involved in the Export Group and participate in UK House."view more - Awards and EventsAdvertising Association, Thu, 14 Oct 2021 09:48:00 GMT
